Manage Categories

This module allows HelloMe admins to create, view, edit, delete, and filter training categories used within the training or learning management sections of the system.

  • Filter Categories

    • Filter categories by:

      • Category Name (text input)
      • Status (dropdown: Active, Inactive)
    • Click Apply to view filtered results.

    • View Categories
      Displays a table with:

    • Checkboxes for single/multiple selection.

    • Name: Name of the category.

    • Status: Current status of the category.

    • Action: Edit or Delete each category.

  • Bulk Actions
    Select multiple categories to perform bulk actions (e.g., Delete, Activate, Deactivate).

  • Pagination Control
    Select the number of categories to display per page (e.g., 30).

Add Training Category​

  1. Click + Add Training Category.
  2. Enter:
    • Category Name (required)
  3. Submit to save the category, which will appear in the list as β€œActive.”

Edit Training Category​

  1. Click the Edit button next to the category.
  2. Update the category name as needed.
  3. Save changes.

Delete Training Category​

  1. Click the Delete button next to the category.
  2. Confirm to permanently remove the category.

Bulk Actions​

  1. Check the boxes for the categories to modify.
  2. Select an action from the β€œBulk Action” dropdown.
  3. Confirm to apply the action to selected categories.

Notes​

  • Status: Indicates if the category is currently active in the system.
  • Purpose: Categories help organize training modules for user navigation and reporting.
  • Permissions: Only administrators with the required permissions can add, edit, or delete categories.

Fields​

  • Category Name: Text field to define the category’s descriptive name for clear organization.
  • Status: Reflects whether a category is Active or Inactive in the system.

This module ensures structured management of training categories, enabling clear organization, easier reporting, and effective administration within your training or LMS workflows.
